Luton produced an absolutely magnificent display as they thrashed Coventry 5-0 on home soil last night to end their run of six games without a win in quite stunning fashion. Elijah Adebayo scored twice, including one from the penalty spot, Harry Cornick also added a double, while Luke Berry notched his fourth of the season as the Hatters ran riot. To find out how the impressive hosts rated on the evening, see below.
5. Sonny Bradley: 9.5
Great to see the skipper in from the start as he brought a real assuredness to proceedings. Dominated aerially, while you could tell he relished the battle against his City opponents and being back under the Kenilworth Road lights.
6. Kal Naismith: 9.5
His header set up Cornick for the second, one of many things he did right on the night. Kept Coventry at arm’s length, stepped out from the back well with some lovely interchanges and one marvellous cross for Adebayo just went begging.
7. Glen Rea: 9.5
First start of the season and gave a near enough perfect example of what is needed from the holding role. Let City know he meant business, well positioned to win his headers and decent on the ball too. Great way to mark his 200th Town outing.
8. Luke Berry: 10
Magnificent from Berry who is now proving a genuine box-to-box midfielder. Arrived perfectly for what wasn’t an easy finish to make it 3-0, while second half he was alert to nip in and set up Cornick. Also back in his own area to clear the danger.
