Luton were well beaten by champions-elect Norwich City on Saturday, falling to a 3-0 defeat at Carrow Road. Finland international Teemu Pukki scored twice, with Todd Cantwell netting late on as the visitors couldn't prevent their table-topping opponents making it seven wins in a row. 5. Kal Naismith (STAR MAN): 7
Yet another committed display in the centre of defence alongside Pearson as he was up against a top striker in Pukki. Prevented a four on two situation developing in the first half as he continues to impress in his new position.
6. Ryan Tunnicliffe: 6
With Norwich controlling the contest in terms of possession then the midfielder had to do plenty of tracking, not able to get on the ball too often. Couldn’t add to his two goals in two games though with the City defence keeping things tight.
7. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall: 6.5
Part of a Town press that looked like it could cause some danger, winning the ball back high up on occasion, allowing Town to create some good chances. Found things harder from then with City dominating the ball for long periods.
8. George Moncur: 6
First start since mid-January and managed to burst forward in the opening few minutes, sending a low cross in that Collins diverted wide. Had to do plenty of tracking back, which isn’t his natural game, although stuck to his task well.
