Luton enjoyed a 2-0 triumph at Peterborough United on Saturday afternoon.
The visitors took the lead inside three minutes through Jordan Clark, and then doubled their advantage when Liam Kelly turned Kasey Palmer’s cross past his own keeper just 51 seconds after the break. To find out how the Hatters’ players rated on the day, see below.

5. Joe Johnson: 7
Started a first league game since the 2-1 loss at Stevenage, replacing an unwell Naismith and despite feeling ill himself, dug deep to go up against a tough opponent in Shofowoke. Solid enough in the first period, but after the break, some miscommunication when trying to let the ball run through to Shea led to a great chance for the hosts. With United on the front foot, stuck to his task manfully, as Luton battened down the hatches, winning a good amount of duels and some pressure-relieving free kicks. Once the Hatters regained the ascendancy, almost made it 3-0, seeing a header cleared off the line and then another attempt deflected by what looked very much like an arm. Photo: David Lowndes

6. Liam Walsh: 7
Stayed in his shape during the first period, as with Town leading 1-0, he looked to try and add a second when, spotted by Richards, he had a crack first time, curling straight at Bass from 25 yards. After the break, he didn't get into the game as much as he would have wanted, with Peterborough able to bypass the press Luton were employing, and get around the midfielder as well, often attacking down the wings. Heavy workload in recent weeks saw him taken off by Wilshere with an hour gone, Gore coming on for the rest of the contest. Photo: David Lowndes

7. Jamie Donley: 7
Moved the ball around well at times in the first half, as he went close to adding to what is becoming an excellent scrapbook of goals, seeing his curving free kick from just outside the box fly narrowly over the bar. Picked up a very harsh booking when he slid in to win the ball back, referee Sando not only penalising him, but bringing out the yellow card too. Different type of game in the second period, Luton spending a large portion of it under the cosh, as he tried to run the ball away from danger at times, only to lose possession, which saw Town remain under the pump. Once they had weathered it, his corner picked out Johnson for a header and had a late effort of his own saved. Photo: David Lowndes

8. Jake Richards: 7
Remained in the starting XI following his recall on Tuesday night, and when Luton were at their best in the opening 15 minutes, he was a big part of that, getting the ball down and playing some crisp passes, finding Walsh for a shot that was saved by the home keeper. With the Hatters not really pressing home their ascendancy, in the second period, he didn't get too many chances to attack in the final third, as the visitors were more intent on keeping their clean sheet intact. Taken off for Mendel with 70 gone, his replacement reaping the benefit of his team-mates having done the hard work. Photo: David Lowndes
