Mark Tyler: 8.5 - Three stand out stops were crucial to another clean sheet. Good reactions to stop Reeves’ deflected attempt and then a cracking full-length effort from Rigg the pick of the bunch.

Stephen O’Donnell: 4.5 - Desperately poor afternoon from the full back who struggled badly against Barcham. Distribution let him down once more and it came as no surprise when his torrid ordeal was ended on the hour mark.

Scott Griffiths: 7 - Made light of his recent late nights with a solid enough display. Ventured forward well at times and close to a first goal of the season but for Shea’s fingertips.

Steve McNulty: 8 - Relished the battle against Akinfenwa and fair to say he came out on top with a second successive shut out. Starting to look back to his best again which bodes well.

Luke Wilkinson: 7.5 - Partnership with McNulty is beginning to take shape again. Couldn’t believe he hadn’t won a penalty when wrestled to the ground by Akinfenwa.

Jonathan Smith: 6 - Plenty of effort as is the norm, but Hatters needed a bit more guile in central midfield at times to unlock AFC’s dogged defence.

Olly Lee: 6 - Not quite as efficient in possession as in his previous matches as Luton never really got a complete hold of the midfield.

Paddy McCourt: 8 - Town’s go-to man in an attacking sense. Some wonderful vision and array of passing as he kept probing away for an opening.

Josh McQuoid: 6 - Couldn’t really influence the game from his position on the wing and looked more a threat when moved centrally alongside Mackail-Smith after the red card.

Cameron McGeehan: 6.5 - Not his most effective game of the season as he was well marshalled by the Dons defence. Fluffed a marvellous chance at the end, but luckily Marriott was on hand to convert.

Craig Mackail-Smith: 7 - Found it tough against a solid visiting back-line, but ran and ran as ever, eventually finding some space in the latter stages.

Alex Lawless (SUB): 7 - Took the wingback role for the last half an hour and impressed with some positive running and a final ball as well.

Jack Marriott (SUB): 8 - Striker had a significant impact after coming off the bench to win the game for Hatters. Two prolific finishes will no doubt give manager John Still a nudge in terms of a starting berth.

Ryan Hall: (SUB): 6.5 - Brought on to stretch the Dons defence and did that. Took the corner that led to the crucial opener as well.
