Lathaniel Rowe-Turner: 7.5 – Almost faultless and the perfect partner for Kovacs.

Greg Taylor: 8.5 – Phenomenal performance from the overlapping full-back whose crossing was perfect for Shaw.

Janos Kovacs: 8 – Defended solidly and made it two with his deft glancing header.

Alex Lawless: 8 – Integral and equally effective on the right and in the centre of midfield.

Jon Shaw: 9 – Great display and took his goals expertly.

Arnaud Mendy: 7.5 – Lanky enforcer has given Town’s midfield a real backbone.

Scott Neilson: 8 – Played on the front foot and edged Luton in front with a poacher’s strike.

Jonathan Smith: 7.5 – Robust and forceful, just needs to curb it from becoming reckless.

Ronnie Henry: 7.5 – Defended first and became more expansive as the game went on.

Andre Gray: 8 – Energetic, created chances, took his goal well, but could have had more.

Jake Howells (sub): 6.5 – Penetrating option on the left of midfield, arguably his best spot.

Scott Rendell (sub): 6 – Great option to replace Shaw, but first touch let him down at times.

Stuart Fleetwoood (sub): 6 – Fresh legs and a threat, but needs to press more.
