Elliot Justham (STAR MAN): 8 - Keeper is growing more commanding by the game and made an excellent reflex stop to deny Cureton.
Michael Harriman: 7 - Defender’s attacking threat diminished once Luton were a man down, but his pace was a huge asset in covering round well.
Scott Griffiths: 7 - Experience is getting him through the games at the moment as his injury is clearly causing plenty of concern.
Steve McNulty: 5.5 - Captain struggled up against the movement and trickery of Cureton all evening. Two mistakes went unpunished thanks to Justham.
Luke Wilkinson: 6.5 - One rash moment aside the defender was the dominant force in Town’s back-line against his old side.
Nathan Doyle: 6 - Didn’t really have time to get his usual rhythm going as he was forced off on 27 minutes with a calf injury.
Jonathan Smith: 6.5 - Battling display from the midfielder who, pushed on by Hatters’ supporters, kept going until the very end.
Cameron McGeehan: 6 - Made one superb sliding tackle and can’t knock his energy levels, but didn’t have quite the impact he would have hoped.
Ryan Hall: 5.5 - Looked like he had scored in the first 30 seconds and a few bright sparks, although lacked the strength to really make it count.
Paul Benson: 5.5 - Striker saw one fine header cleared off the goal-line but his evening was spoiled when he was dismissed. Clumsy more than anything but his foot was extremely high.
Elliot Lee: 7.5 - Forward was Luton’s only real serious chance of a goal and his free kick was on its way in but for Cousin’s late save.
Shaun Whalley (SUB) 5: Fluffed a marvellous chance after great work by Lee and was then replaced himself by Cullen in the second half.
Luke Guttridge (SUB): 5 - On for the second 45 but Town could never really break with any real conviction.
Mark Cullen (SUB): 5 - Not the player he was at the start of the season and his frustration was clear for all to see.
