Hatters rated v Ebbsfleet

Mark Tyler: 7 – Two vital saves from Liam Enver-Marum in the first half and confidently claimed a number of deep crosses.

Keith Keane: 7.5 – Like most of the side, has stepped up another gear since Buckle’s arrival. Carries a real goal threat too now.

George Pilkington: 7.5 – Held firm when Luton were under pressure. Late sliding block showed just how much the clean sheet meant.

Alex Lawless: 6.5 – Had a goal chalked off first half and drifts off the right flank at times, but neat and tidy in possession.

Robbie Willmott: 7.5 – Much better from Willmott, who is playing with a real purpose and verve now.

Stuart Fleetwood: 8 – Reborn under Buckle, the striker is a constant threat in the opposition area.

Jake Howells: 7.5 – Made some fine overlapping runs as Town targeted their attacks down Fleet’s right-hand side.

Curtis Osano: 7 – Another who is starting to showcase his talents. Noticeably far more forceful in the challenge and loves to roam forward.

Andre Gray: 8 – Such a talent and scares the living daylights out of opposition defenders. Missed one sitter, but also found McNeil in stunning form.

Adam Watkins (pictured): 7 – First start under Town’s new boss and kept play ticking over effectively.

Janos Kovacs: 7.5 – Thundered into his headers with typical relish. Hatters’ chief cheerleader when it comes to goal celebrations too.

Shane Blackett (sub): 6.5 – Slotted in well and raided the left flank, although did deliver an amusing airshot at the death.

Craig McAllister (sub): 6 – Best moment of the night was when the on-loan striker ended his lengthy barren spell.

Godfrey Poku (sub): 5 – Replaced Willmott for the final few seconds.
