Mark Tyler: 8 - Busier evening that he would have liked. Brilliant stop first half to deny Payne and then made another crucial block late on from Moore’s volley. Kicking was surprisingly erratic though.
Sean Long: 6 - Steady enough home debut, though with the diamond formation in use, really needed to get forward in attack more.
Dan Potts: 5.5 - Struggled noticeably against the advancing Clohessy throughout and beaten far too easily for the goal. Did set up Marriott’s strike, but it was an uneasy evening for the defender.
Scott Cuthbert: 7.5 - Skipper for the night was far more dominant than he had been at Crawley on Saturday, particularly aerially. Doing his chances of leading the side no harm at all.
Luke Wilkinson: 7 - Got plenty of distance on his headers and tried to break out from the back where possible. Left static for Orient’s leveller though.
Olly Lee: 6.5 - Midfielder started out the base of the diamond where it curtailed his attacking tendencies as he couldn’t get on the ball as much as he would have liked.
Jonathan Smith: 5.5 - Plenty of effort as ever from the midfielder, but Luton needed more on the ball from him on this occasion as moves broke down far too often.
Paddy McCourt: 6.5 - One wonderful backheel sent Potts away and he always the most likely to create an opening. Ran out of steam after the break though.
Cameron McGeehan: 6.5 - Restricted to shooting from range at times such was the lack of support while appeared wasted in the wide areas. Far more dangerous when roaming through the centre.
Jack Marriott (STAR MAN): 8 - Striker was a constant nuisance for Orient as he made it seven for the season. Might have had a hat-trick with a number of chances and was left frustrated not to grab a late winner.
Craig Mackail-Smith: 6 - Work-rate never in question but his energy was more often than not expended in the wrong areas as he had to go chasing for possession.
Nathan Doye (SUB): 7 - Helped Luton regain a foothold in midfield after they were starting to become over-run by the visitors.
Luke Guttridge (SUB): 6 - Came on to try and inject some creativity in the latter stages, producing one glorious through ball to Marriott.
Josh McQuoid (SUB): 5 - Thrown on to pep up Luton’s attack but offered very little.
