Hatters rated v Stevenage

Elliot Justham: 7 - Clean sheet would have boosted keeper’s confidence after Southend mistake. Important stop from Zola late on denied Boro a late consolation.

Michael Harriman (STAR MAN): 8 - Stunning volley in what would have surely been a goal of the season of the candidate. Hopefully he’ll be back at Kenilworth Road to try and repeat the feat next year.

Scott Griffiths: 7 - Valiant display again from the full back who can now finally go and have the operation he put off in aid of Town’s play-off bid.

Luke Wilkinson: 7.5 - Looks to be firmly over his recent blip now and exuded the confidence and composure that was so apparent early in the season.

Steve McNulty: 8 - Another who is back to his best once more. Usual dominance in the air and toyed with the Stevenage forwards at times when they tried to tackle him.

Cameron McGeehan: 6.5 - Not a natural winger but gave his all on the right hand side. Will hope to have a position cemented next term should he return.

Jonathan Smith: 7 - Did the hard work in midfield as Luton were simply too strong for the visitors, particularly in the first half. Now to pen that new deal.

Nathan Doyle: 6.5 - Eased his way through the game with another assured performance. With a full pre-season, could be even better next year.

Jake Howells: 8 - Couldn’t quite match the impact he had last week as Southend’s back-line were a much tougher nut to crack.

Mark Cullen: 7 - Netted his 15th goal of the season to give Luton the perfect start.

Elliot Lee: 7 - Very lively, particularly early on and his desire for a parting goal led him to take the wrong option on the odd occasion.

Luke Guttridge (SUB): 6.5 - Some good movement and clever passing once more in his second half cameo.

Ryan Hall (SUB): 6 - Still yet to really show his true colours in a Luton short. One promising delivery into the box though.

Lewis Kinsella (SUB): 6 - Ended a frustrating loan spell with a late run out.
