Hatters rated v Tranmere Rovers
Michael Harriman: 6.5 - Solid enough on the right side of Town’s back four as he stuck to his defensive duties well.
Scott Griffiths: 7 - Made some crucial interventions, particularly late on as Luton kept a long overdue clean sheet. A real shame he’ll be out with hernia op now.

Hide AdSteve McNulty: 7 - Captain looked more commanding than he had in recent weeks and showed his leadership qualities as Tranmere pushed for a late leveller.
Luke Wilkinson: 7 - Another who grew into the game the longer it went on. Back to his aerial best and hopefully his blip is now behind him.
Nathan Doyle: 7 - Exudes control and allowed others to play around. Kept the Hatters ticking over by keeping it simple.
Jonathan Smith: 7.5 - Was here, there and everywhere, as he drove the Luton midfield forward. Lucky to escape booking in typically combative display.

Hide AdCameron McGeehan: 7 - The birthday boy relished his more advanced role and with the safety net of Doyle was able to push forward. Alive quickest to pounce for Town’s winner.
Ryan Hall: 6.5 - Showed flashes of creativity which hinted at better things to come, however, gave away far too many needless free kicks.
Paul Benson: 7 - Took a buffeting from the home defence as he worked tirelessly in attack before withdrawn for Stockley late on.
Mark Cullen: 6 - Won the penalty, only to fluff his lines and thankful for McGeehan to spare his blushes. Not involved as much as he could have been.

Hide AdAlex Lawless (SUB): 5.5 - Replaced Hall, but didn’t really see a great deal of the ball during his time out there.
Jayden Stockley (SUB): 5.5 - Allowed Benson to have a breather and tried to keep the home defence occupied.
Jake Howells (SUB): 5 - Came on in injury time with Luton looking to see out time.
