Scott Rendell: 7.5 – Telescopic limbs helped the Hatters to retain possession, linked well and netted the decisive penalty.

Jake Howells: 7: Brings a real element of class to left-back.

Simon Ainge: 7.5 – Looked much more assured at the back alongside Kovacs.

Stuart Fleetwood: 7 – On the periphery for large parts but looked dangerous when he got a head of steam up.

Arnaud Mendy: 7.5 – Colossal midfielder provided Town’s midfield with the steel to overpower Woking, although still a little lackadaisical at times.

Ronnie Henry: 7.5 – Skipper is coming into his own and is even supplying more ammo.

Andre Gray: 8 – Stellar showing from the star striker who was Town’s ace in the pack against the Cards.

JJ O’Donnell (sub): 5.5 – Late change to give Luton fresh legs.

Matt Robinson (sub): N/A – Came on for Gray to milk the applause.
