Luton are expected to play their remaining five home Championship games at Kenilworth Road after a statement from the English Football League (EFL) this afternoon.

A meeting will be held by the EFL on Monday, June 8 to rubber stamp proposals on how to end a season early because of coronavirus in the lower leagues, although for the Hatters, they and the rest of the second tier are aiming to complete their campaign.

Playing at neutral venues had been mentioned ahead of a return, while the Premier League today announced up to six matches could be moved at the request of local police forces.

However, that isn't expected to be the case for Luton, as a statement from the EFL said: "It remains our intention to play all remaining league matches at Clubs' home grounds as long as they comply with the relevant Government guidance.

"We will only seek to move matches if they are not permitted by the relevant local authority, following any representations from the local police force."
