Hatters sign Rotherham winger Hall

Luton Town have confirmed the signing of Rotherham United winger Ryan Hall after he was released by the Championship club.

The 27-year-old has penned an 18-month contract at Kenilworth Road and was paraded to supporters during the half time interval in today’s 3-2 win over Cambridge United.

Hall has previously played under John Still when the Luton boss was in charge of Dagenham & Redbridge, joining on loan from Crystal Palace in 2008.

The former Arsenal and Crystal Palace youngster was restricted to just one league appearance with the Eagles, leaving Selhurst Park and moving to non-league Bromley.

Hall then made the switch League Two Southend United in July 2010, and the winger made an instant impact at Roots Hall, going on to score 23 goals in over 100 matches, as he was snapped up by Leeds United.

The wideman had a spell Sheffield United, before joining Rotherham in the summer and scored the winning goal in the Millers’ 1-0 win over Wolves in August.

Hall joined Notts County for a brief loan spell, making six appearances in League One for the Magpies before returning to Rotherham and will wear squad number 27 at Luton.
