Hatters to face Cobblers and Boro in pre-season

Luton have confirmed they will take on Football League opposition Northampton Town and Stevenage in their pre-season friendlies for the 2020-21 campaign.

The Hatters, who began their warm-ups with a comfortable 9-0 success against Southern League side Berkhamsted yesterday, will head to the Cobblers on Saturday, August 29.

Their hosts are plying their trade in League One this season after a crushing 4-0 success over Exeter City in the play-off final at Wembley last term.

Nathan Jones' team will also take on Stevenage, who remained in League Two after Macclesfield were relegated to the National League when the English Football League won an appeal against a points deduction recently.

Meanwhile, Town head to newly-promoted National League side Wealdstone on Tuesday, August 25, as they return to competitive action in the Carabao Cup first round, scheduled for September 5, ahead of the Championship start date, a week later.
