Hatters are expected to run the rule over striker Calvin Zola in tonight’s friendly against Thurrock.
The 30-year-old was released by Stevenage recently after an injury-hit season saw him make only a handful of appearances.
“He had a difficult time at Stevenage last year, but we’ve got him in to see where he is with his fitness.”John Still
Zola has done well at the likes of Crewe and Burton previously in his career as boss John Still said: “He’s been in, along with Mustafa Tiryaki, and I think he’ll play some part at Thurrock.
“He was one that we had a bit of interest in. He had a difficult time at Stevenage last year, but we’ve got him in to see where he is with his fitness, although we haven’t made any definitive plans on anything yet.”
