Hatters’ Wembley sales pass 22,000 mark
HATTERS have passed the 22,000 mark as they bid to turn Wembley into a sea of orange next Sunday.
As of 1pm on Saturday, Town confirmed they had sold 22,233 tickets for their Blue Square Bet Premier play-off final clash with York City.
The Minstermen are believed to have sold around the 5,000 mark, but have already tasted success at Wembley by winning the FA Trophy yesterday afternoon as they beat Newport County 2-0 thanks to goals from Matty Blair and Lanre Oyabanjo in front of a crowd of 19,844.
