Hatters without Guttridge and Wilkinson at Hitchin
Luton Town begin their pre-season campaign in earnest with a trip to Southern Premier Division side Hitchin Town tonight.
The Hatters will take their first team squad to Top Field, with the exception of midfielder Luke Guttridge and defender Luke Wilkinson.
Guttridge is still recovering from the operation he had on his metatarsal at the end of last season. Wilkinson meanwhile picked up a slight injury during Town’s Portugal training camp and won’t be risked.
Boss John Still said: “We will mix and match for that game.

“Luke (Wilkinson) picked up a slight knock in Portugal and missed out on some training, but it’s not a worry.
“They are the only two who won’t play at Hitchin.”
