Henry hopes to bring Midas touch to Hatters

WINNER Ronnie Henry is hoping to replicate the success he had with Stevenage at Luton following his arrival at Kenilworth Road on Saturday, writes Mark Wood.

Town pulled off a real coup to sign the 28-year-old right-back on a two-year deal from their League One near neighbours.

The ex-Boro captain helped his former side to successive promotions from the Conference and League Two, but there will be no complacency from him moving back down into non-league football.

He said: “I haven’t forgotten where I came from. I was in the Conference for a few years. There’s some good players and some good teams in there.

“I’ve worked very hard over the last few years to get promoted from the Conference and then League Two. It’s not been easy but it’s been well worth it. Now I’ve had the taste of that success I want more.”
