The visitors left it late, scoring through birthday boy Cameron McGeehan with nine minutes remaining, as the on-loan Norwich midfielder turned home after Mark Cullen’s penalty was saved.

Still said: “I thought it was a perfect away performance from us. For both teams, they probably feel under a bit of pressure and I think we were probably under the same pressure, but gradaully we’re getting players fit and I’m delighted to have won.

“It’s an amazing thing, I never get over the top when we win and don’t get too low when we don’t. I’m delighted to have won but back to normal a few minutes after.

“We set up 4-3-3 as we wanted to settle into the game, but as I pointed out after the Exeter game, we went to 4-4-2 as I wanted to win the game, I don’t want to draw the game, we were prepared to lose to win.

“We went 4-4-2 and I think at the right time, defenders get a bit tired, Benno (Paul Benson) did an absolutely phenomenal job again, and Jayden (Stockley) came on to give us some more running power at the end.”
