A shocking start from the visitors saw Town trail 2-0 after just 16 minutes, and although to their credit, they fought back to earn a point, boss John Still was not a happy man afterwards.

Defender Jake Howells said: “We just started sloppy, there’s no reason behind it.

“We didn’t start how we should start as Luton Town, everyone was sloppy and knew it wasn’t right, we knew we had to step it up.

“It’s not great from us, we all know that personally, everybody’s disappointed.

“We showed character to get back into the game and I think it was a bit gutting we didn’t win it.”

Winger Luke Rooney brought Hatters back into the game with a lovely finish and he admitted there had been some stern words from the Town boss.
