After coming through the ranks to make his debut in September 2003, Brill represented Town in the Championship, played at Anfield and was part of the side who won the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy in 2009. However, who would he select in his all-time best XI from players that pulled on a Hatters shirt with him? The Luton News finds out just who made the final cut.
1. GK: Marlon Beresford:
My goalkeeping guru! A great guy but also a fantastic keeper, so calm.
2. RB: Kevin Foley.
One of my youth team, did everything well. A proper footballer.
3. LB: Sol Davis.
Hard as nails, mad as a box of frogs! Knew his position inside out though and could do every part of defending.
4. CD: Chris Coyne.
Could have picked five or six centre-backs, but Coyney was a great defender, a leader and looked after me when I played my first games.
