Luton Town supporters have been choosing the best free transfer signing made by the Hatters in the past 15 years after a special poll run by the Luton News.

5. Carlos Edwards: 8.5%
Exciting winger moved to Kenilworth Road in May 2005 after leaving Wrexham and became a crowd favourite during his 74 outings and eight goals for Luton, before moving to Sunderland for £1.5m in January 2007.
6. Jordan Clark: 6.3%
Dubbed the best ever free transfer by boss Nathan Jones, the former Accrington winger is in his second season with the Hatters and has played in a variety of roles during his 54 appearances, scoring five goals too.
7. Alan Sheehan: 5.3%
Irishman was Luton boss Nathan Jones' first signing in his first spell, joining on loan to begin with and then permanently when leaving Bradford. Played 135 times, scoring nine goals, a huge part of Town’s climb back up the leagues.
8. Markus Heikkinen: 4%
Finland international moved to Luton after leaving Aberdeen in 2005 and was a regular as the Hatters finished 10th in the Championship. Made 77 appearances in total, with three goals, leaving in 2007 for Rapid Vienna.
