5. Apr 9, 1989: Littlewoods Cup Final - Nottingham Forest 3 Luton Town 1
Reaching the final for a second year running, Luton took the lead when Mick Harford scored on 35 minutes. 7. Apr 5, 2009: Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final - Luton Town 3 Scunthorpe United 2
With Luton on the way down the Conference, the Hatters, managed by Mick Harford, beat League One Scunthorpe United 3-2 in a thriller at Wembley. The Iron had led through Gary Hooper, with Chris Martin levelling and then Tommy Craddock putting Town 2-1 up in the second half. Luton looked in pole position to reach the Football League when Andre Gray fired home from Robbie Wilmott’s cross inside two minutes.
