With Town manager Nathan Jones' forays into the transfer market over the summer, it has left Hatters fans eagerly awaiting the chance to see their new-look squad in action this campaign.

5. Paul Peschisolido
Canadian striker had an excellent career at Birmingham, Stoke, Fulham and Derby, signing for Luton in July 2007. Played just five games as an ankle problem ruled him out for the season, as he had to retire at the end of the campaign.
6. Friedrich Breitenfelder
Austrian defender who joined Luton from St Polten in August 2000, signed by Ricky Hill. Made just five appearances before returning to his home country at the end of the season. Had a spell in Germany before settling at Rapid Vienna.
7. Peter Thomson
Joined Luton from Dutch club NAC Breda for £100,000 in September 2000, but only scored three goals in 17 games as he was sent out on loan by new Town boss Joe Kinnear and then allowed to leave for Morecambe in March 2002.
8. Rocky Baptiste
Former Chelsea forward was given his league chance by Town manager Ricky Hill aged 28 in October 2000, joining from Hayes. Went back to his old club on loan after just three appearances and joined Farnborough the following summer.
