5. Three Lions call
Freeman made his debut for the England U16s in the 2008 Montaigu Tournament in France, scoring in a 3-1 victory against Japan. Was then picked by the England U17s for the 2008 Nordic Tournament held in Sweden, going on to play 15 times for the age-group, including in the UEFA U17 Championships, netting four goals. 6. Yeovil switch
Ahead of the 2010-11 season, Freeman signed for League One Yeovil Town on a six month loan, where he linked up with now Town manager Nathan Jones. 7. Stevenage spell
After penning another new deal at Arsenal, Freeman went to Stevenage on loan in November 2011 for two months, impressing at the Lamax, scoring one goal in nine outings, that coming in a 6-1 triumph at Colchester United. Photo: Harry Engels
8. Emirates exit
Two days after his Stevenage exit, Freeman was back in Hertfordshire once more, this time on a permanent basis, putting pen to paper on a two year deal. Went on to play 32 matches in total, scoring seven goals as Boro were beaten in the League One play-offs by Sheffield United. Photo: Pete Norton
