Hatters boss Nathan Jones gave academy graduate Sam Beckwith his debut in last month's Carabao Cup tie with Stevenage, the 15th youngster to feature for the first team during the manager's two spells in charge at Kenilworth Road. Goalkeeper started the Checkatrade Trophy tie at Gillingham only beaten late on. Kept one clean sheet in his four games, saving a penalty against West Bromwich Albion. Left in July 2017, playing for Oxford City and is now at Dartford.
10. Connor Tomlinson: Aug 30, 2016 - Gillingham 1 Luton 2
Became Luton’s youngest ever player when coming off the bench aged just 15 years and 199 days at Gillingham. Two appearances in total, he left in July 2019 and has spent the last few seasons at near neighbours Bedford Town.
11. Alex Atkinson: Aug 30, 2016 - Gillingham 1 Luton 2
Came on for the final six minutes in his only Luton appearance, as he left the club in December 2016 in a loan move for Hanwell Town that was to become permanent.
12. Akin Famewo: Aug 16, 2016 - Luton 2 Newport County 1
On with four minutes left after Johnny Mullins was sent off against the Exiles. Played 13 times in total, moving to Norwich for an undisclosed fee in January 2019. Loan spells at St Mirren and Charlton since, rejoining the Addicks this term.
