Injury fears grow as Andre’s set to go

HATTERS playmaker Andre Boucaud is set to join League One Notts County on loan until January, while fears deepen over an achilles injury to Danny Spiller, writes Mark Wood.

Boucaud has been on trial with the Magpies for the last week-and-a-half and is set to join them until the new year.

The 27-year-old has struggled to make an impact at Kenilworth Road since joining from York City for £25,000 in January, appearing for the Hatters just seven times.

Meanwhile, midfielder Spiller signed from Gillingham in the summer but is yet to play a part this pre-season after injuring his achilles and there are question marks over his participation this term.
