Johnson confident Hatters will get over play-off woe

Town were condemned to another season in non-league after their penalty shoot out heartbreak, but Johnson, who experienced his own play-off disappointment with Luton in the 1996/97 season, when they were beaten by Crewe Alexandra, believes they will swiftly get over it.

He said: “Myself, I was involved when we played Crewe. We didn’t get to the final, we got knocked out in the semi-final.
