Luton chief Nathan Jones could still add to his squad before the transfer window closes early next month.

The Hatters chief made his fourth signing of the summer today, with the season-long loan addition of Rhys Norrington-Davies from Sheffield United.

The left back joins Jordan Clark, James Bree and Tom Lockyer as new additions at Kenilworth Road, with the latter two joining on Tuesday.

Although the deadline is Monday, October 5, there is still a domestic window open until Friday, October 16, where EFL clubs can bring players in, and on whether he will look to make another move, Jones said: “We'll always try, if there’s scope to improve the squad we’ll always try to improve the squad.

“We don't really need too much as we've got people in positions and numbers-wise we’re probably at our limit at the minute, so maybe the odd signing, one more signing.

“We would like to add obviously a little bit more quality which we always try to do, that becomes available and we're able to do that then brilliant.

“There’s a lot of players we've identified but a lot of things have to happen to bring them to the club.

“Everything’s ongoing, we’re very happy with the position we’re in and the place we're in.

"We’re in a stronger position than we were a week ago with the signings of Bree, Lockyer and Norrington-Davies.

“That means that we’re covered in all areas, it's just about tweaking things, nothing major, so tweaking things so we can add a little bit more.”
