Keane admits it was ‘weird’ to face Luton
Keane, who made 285 appearances for the Hatters, gave an excellent performance in central midfield and received a wonderful reception from the sparse crowd in attendance.
After the match, which Crawley won 1-0, Keane tweeted: “I would just like to thank everyone at the game tonight for giving me such a good reception it was great to be bk at Kenilworth but definitely weird playing against Luton. I hope they kick on and get promoted again this season.”

Hide AdCoincidentally Keane’s former team-mate and good friend Jake Howells leapfrogged him as the game was his 286th for the Hatters, as he moved up to 24th in the club’s all-time appearance list.
