Kissock incurs the wrath of Town boss Brabin

TOWN boss Gary Brabin lambasted midfielder John Paul Kissock after his reaction to being substituted during the 3-3 draw with Southport at the weekend, writes Mike Simmonds.

Returning to his former club, Kissock, was replaced after 68 minutes by Amari Morgan-Smith and showed his displeasure while leaving the pitch as he and Brabin were involved in a touchline bust-up.

Kissock was back in the starting line-up during Monday night’s 3-0 FA Trophy victory over Hinckley United, but according to Brabin, the hatchet hadn’t completely been buried.

He said: “It’s something that we’re certainly dealing with.

“I’m disappointed with him, the players are disappointed with him, I’m sure the fans are and the board who witnessed it on Saturday are disappointed with him.

“That’s going to be dealt with in-house this week.”
