Lawless ‘itching’ to play his part against Premier League Potters
The 30-year-old has been restricted to just 22 minutes of action for Luton so far this term, that coming in Saturday’s 3-2 defeat at Yeovil.
With Town boss John Still confirming some changes would be made, there is every possibility Lawless will be involved again, as he said: “I’m itching to play any game, although playing against that kind of opposition is what you want to be testing yourself.

With Hatters beaten at Huish Park after squandering a 2-0 lead for the second Saturday running, then the chance to be in action again, even with it being a cup competition, is perfect for Lawless.
He continued: “When you’ve lost a game on the Saturday, you always want to get a game straight away, no matter who it is.
“Ideally it would be a league game straight away, but this gives us a bit more time, a bit more preparation before the next league game to get it absolutely spot on and that could work well for us.
“We’ll just use the game and make sure we get our prep from that to put the league right ASAP.”
