Legends of ’88 prove an inspiration for Town boss

Luton Town celebrate their Littlewoods Cup win in 1988

Having the legendary Luton class of 1988 reunited for last week’s 25th anniversary celebratory dinner was a real inspiration according to Town boss John Still, writes Mark Wood.

The evening doubled as the club’s presentation night, with Littlewoods Cup winners Mick Harford, Rob Johnson, Brian Stein, Andy Dibble, Kingsley Black, Steve Foster, Darron McDonough and Tim Breacker all in attendance.

Still said: “If that didn’t inspire you nothing will. Whenever you see a group of lads that have had success you can see how close knit they are and that shone through.”
