Town chief Nathan Jones revealed that midfielder Glen Rea was taken off at half time during today's 2-1 win over Derby County after complaining he was feeling light headed.

The 25-year-old had been playing well in an opening 45 minutes that saw Luton leading 1-0 through Luke Berry's first goal of the season.

However, he didn't reemerge for the second period with the rest of his team-mates, James Bree coming on, with Martin Cranie moving to the holding role.

Jack Marriott levelled for the visitors, before Jordan Clark won it late on, heading home Rhys Norrington-Davies' cross, but on Rea's absence, Jones said: "He just felt a little bit light headed, whatever it was, diet-wise, or heat, we couldn’t really risk that.

"So we took him off and Cranie did well, but I thought we missed him second half Glen, a little bit of his dominance, the discipline he give you.

"It coincided with Derby changing things and being a little bit better, but I'm delighted with the win.

"There's a few things we needed to do better, but you can't ask for more."
