Luton Town head to Port Vale on Saturday looking for their first win at Vale Park since the 2008-09 campaign.
Exactly 17 years ago to the day, the Hatters triumphed at the Valiants on February 28, 2009, as despite falling behind to John McCombe’s goal, Town hit back to triumph thanks to strikes from Asa Hall, Kevin Gallen and Chris Martin. To find out just who lined up for the visitors on the day, see below.

1. GK: Dean Brill
Had only just regained his place in the side from Conrad Logan who returned to Leicester City as the Luton-born stopper made a brilliant save from Kevin Gall when the Valiants debutant went through one-on-one with the keeper at 1-0 down and then also got up well to prevent the rebound going in too. Also went on to deny Scott Brown in the second half and ended up remaining in the side after that, playing 23 times in the league with eight clean sheets to his name. Photo: Hatters Heritage

2. DF: Ed Asafu-Adjaye
Academy graduate had made his first team debut in the latter stages of the previous season, as after a handful of appearances in the early stages of the campaign, he came back into the side during January and ended up playing 19 times in total during Luton's eventual relegation into non-league. 3. DF: Sol Davis
Left back helped Luton maintain their advantage at Vale Park when he brilliantly headed John McCombe's goalbound header off the line. Defender was in and out of the side during the season, going on to feature 24 times in total for the club, scoring once, that in the 2-1 win over a Dagenham & Redbridge team managed by future Hatters boss John Still at Kenilworth Road. 4. DF: Keith Keane
Reacted quickest along with goalkeeper Brill to crucially prevent Kevin Gall from doubling the hosts' lead that enabled Luton to hit back and earn a welcome three points on the road. Began the most games for the Hatters in the league that season, named in the starting line-up on 40 occasions. Photo: Hatters Heritage
