Liverpool defender Adam Lewis, who had been supposedly on the radar of Luton boss Nathan Jones, completed a season-long loan move to French side Amiens SC last week.

The 20-year-old had committed his long-term future to the Reds by signing a new contract recently, with Goal's Liverpool Correspondent Neil Jones reporting that a move to Kenilworth Road was on the cards, once Jurgen Klopp had signed Olympiacos left-back Kostas Tsimikas.

Although that deal went ahead, Lewis, who has played for England U16s, U17s, U19s and U20s, was then loaned to the Ligue 2 side for the campaign, making his debut in the 1-0 win over AS Nancy at the weekend.
