LOAN WATCH: Angol bags three in two for Wood

Hatters striker Lee Angol scored twice as Boreham Wood hammered Hemel Hempstead Town 6-0 in the Conference South on Tuesday night.

The striker now has three goals in just two games after netting in the 2-0 win over Farnborough on Saturday.

Midfielder Charlie Smith was also on target too and had a hand in both other goals as Hitchin Town won 3-0 at Banbury United in the Southern Premier Division on Tuesday.

He played the full 90 minutes in Hitchin’s 2-0 defeat at Corby on Saturday.

Midfielder Ian Rees started for Biggleswade Town in their 1-1 draw against Histon in the same league, while striker Zane Banton came off the bench in midweek.

The pair were used substitutes as the Waders lost 2-0 against Chippenham on Saturday.

Meanwhile, defender Brett Longden was suspended for Maidenhead’s 2-1 Conference South win at Sutton United on Saturday.
