Hatters striker Zane Banton was on target again as Biggleswade Town were 3-2 winners over Truro City in their Southern League Premier Division clash at the weekend.
The teenager netted after fellow Hatters loanee Ian Rees’ pass and also set up another goal during the injury time triumph.
Winger Kynan Isaac was also on among the goals as Oxford City were beaten 2-1 by Lowestoft Town in Conference North. He put the visitors ahead, but was replaced just after the hour as the hosts hit back.
In the Conference Premier, Andy Parry played 90 minutes, picking up a yellow card as AFC Telford enjoyed a surprise 3-1 win at high-flying Woking.
Winger Dave Martin came on as a 22nd minute substitute for Bristol Rovers as they lost 1-0 at home to Forest Green Rovers, while Solomon Taiwo joined the fray after 76 minutes but couldn’t prevent Dover Athletic losing 1-0 at Macclesfield.
Charlie Smith played 73 minutes for nine-man Hitchin Town as they were beaten 2-1 by Dorchester in the Southern Premier Division, while Mark Onyemah gained an assist for Thurrock in their 4-3 win over Tilbury in the FA Trophy on Friday night.
