Lafayette drew the Wings level on the stroke of half time as he played the whole 90 with Welling now above their opponents on goal difference going into the final day.

Fellow striker Zane Banton was also on target for Hemel Hempstead as they were beaten 3-1 by Whitehawk in the Conference South on Saturday.

Danny Fitzsimons had the whole game as Brackley Town kept alive their Conference North survival hopes with a 2-1 win at Hyde.
