Striker Ricky Miller netted on his debut for Dover Athletic in their 4-1 Conference Premier triumph at AFC Telford on Saturday.
The summer signing came off the bench after 64 minutes with the scores at 1-1 and had a huge impact as his shot was saved, allowing Jake Reid to make it 2-1.
Miller then had a goal disallowed, before firing home Athletic’s third, while Solomon Taiwo also started for the Whites.
Winger Dave Martin was in action, playing 90 minutes for Bristol Rovers as they lost 2-0 at Braintree.
Fellow Hatters striker Lee Angol was also on target with his fifth goal of the season as Boreham Wood emerged 1-0 winners at Gosport Borough in Conference South.
In the same division, Brett Longden had 90 minutes for Maidenhead as they triumphed 2-1 at Staines, while Danny Fitzsimons also played the full game, but Bishop’s Stortford lost 3-2 at home to Basingstoke.
In the Southern League Premier Division, Zane Banton and Ian Rees both started for Biggleswade Town in their 2-2 draw at home to St Neots, with Banton picking up a yellow card.
Charlie Smith came on as a 73rd minute substitute for Hitchin during their 3-0 defeat at Truro.
