Luton will be without attacker Kazenga LuaLua once more for the trip to Swansea City this weekend due to a knee injury.

The 29-year-old missed Saturday’s return to Championship action last weekend, and will be sidelined once more when the Hatters head to Wales.

Speaking to the press this afternoon, boss Nathan Jones said: We’ve got pretty much a full squad to choose from apart from Kazenga.

“The rest are in good shape, they’ve all come through the game and the weeks training.

“He’s had a certain thing with his knee for a while.

"We’ve had to manage him when we put a real load on him, as he’s so explosive sometimes it just flares up and gets a little bit of inflammation which causes him discomfort.

“So we’ve just got to manage that and with the weather and pitches how they’ve been, it only inflames it a little bit more.”

There was good news though for midfielder Luke Berry and on-loan Manchester City youngster Luke Bolton, who both missed out on the 1-1 draw with Preston as well.

Jones added: “Luke’s (Berry) very good, Luke’s done a full weeks training, so we’re very happy with that, and he can come back into contention.

“With eight games in four weeks, not one player will be able to do 90 minutes in eight games, so we’re going to need the squad.

“Sometimes they drop in, sometimes they dip out, but they've got to be ready, motivated, to come in and physically, mentally and psychologically ready to come and play and Bolts has been that.

“He’s been great since I've come in, he was unlucky to miss out last week, but positionally we felt we had everything covered and he was just unfortunate to miss out.

“He’s fundamental in what we do, as is everyone else.

"We're going to use and chop, we’ve got to make sure that we are tactically prepared, we are physically in the best shape that we can be and that sometimes involves a little bit of chopping and changing.

“We’re still gathering momentum, sharpness and getting up to speed, but that will have done them the world of good last week.

“We bought five on, who got real important minutes and contributed so we’re in a better shape physically than we were a week ago.”
