Luton will be at home to fellow Championship side Reading in the FA Cup third round after the draw was announced this evening.

The Hatters have already played their Berkshire opponents in the Carabao Cup, winning 1-0 at the Madjeski Stadium, while they are heading back to the Royals on Boxing Day.

Town have met Reading twice in the competition, the first a qualifying round 4-0 victory on October 6, 1888, the fourth match in Luton's history.

Hatters also hosted their opponents on December 7, 1963, a second round 2-1 triumph.

However, last term in the league, the Royals ran out 5-0 winners after lockdown.
