Sweet upset by fans reaction against Bath

DESPITE criticism from a minority of supporters, Luton Town’s board have no intention of making any kneejerk reactions on the future of boss Richard Money, writes Mark Wood

Managing director Gary Sweet has declared the manager has the club’s full backing, that he won’t be going anywhere this campaign and that they would like to see him stay for longer.

The Hatters boss has clashed with fans on occasion this season, and was subjected to the ridiculous chant of ‘you don’t know what you’re doing’ in the recent 3-1 victory over Bath City when he replaced fans favourite Danny Crow with Dan Walker.

Sweet said: “We’ve got to have the faith in him to take us up. Let’s have the faith in the manager to do that.”
