Luton boss Nathan Jones is narrowing down his list of targets in a bid to add one more new signing to his squad ahead of the transfer window closing next month.

The Hatters chief admitted recently that he was after just one more addition, looking to bring in 'something different' to supplement the playing personnel he already has at his disposal.

Giving an update on how that search is going this afternoon, Jones said: We’ve got a number of targets, first, second and third, that we’re trying to get.

"Pretty much, it’s one of three, really.

"If we can just do that then we’ll be complete and very happy with the business we’ve done, because of what we would’ve added to the squad.

"Whether we get to do that is another thing, so let’s see.

"The ones that we want are the ones we’re going for, so hopefully one of those can drop.

"If not, no problem because we’ve got good enough numbers, good competition and I’m very happy with the way the squad is working, we’re in a good place."
