Second half improvement caught Hatters out

HATTERS chief Richard Money paid credit to opponents Bath City after his side continued their tilt for promotion with a 3-1 victory at the weekend, writes Mike Simmonds.

With Luton 3-0 ahead going into the interval, the hosts were odds-on to rack up a hefty win in the second half, but the Romans held firm and grabbed a deserved consolation themselves.

Money said: “It was a great three points, we played well first half, but a bit scrappy second half.

“You’ve got to give Bath a bit of credit, I thought they played well second half.
