Luton defender Kioso 'showed his value' to Cobblers boss Curle during impressive debut at Fleetwood
Northampton Town boss Keith Curle felt Luton defender Peter Kioso ‘showed his value’ in what was an excellent display on his Cobblers debut during their 0-0 League One draw at Fleetwood Town on Tuesday night.
The 21-year-old only moved to the PTS Academy Stadium Stadium on Monday, and was thrown straight into the starting line-up by Curle, featuring alongside ex-Hatter Lloyd Jones in defence.

Hide AdKioso was involved early on with a fantastic defensive header at the back post denying the hosts a certain goal, receiving treatment for his troubles.
Ex-Luton loanee Jonathan Mitchell, in goal for the visitors, saved comfortably from Harvey Saunders and also tipped over a 35-yard free-kick from Callum Camps.
Ryan Edmondson shot straight at Alex Cairns, while in the second period, Kioso crossed for Danny Rose to head wide as although both sides created opportunities, the spoils were shared.
Speaking the press about his new arrival, Curle said: “He showed his value.

“He showed his athleticism, his bravery and his determination and he made sure the striker didn't make first contact. He got better and better from then on.
"There are still things he needs to work on in terms of going to close the ball down because he's so eager to go, sometimes he goes when he isn't going to get there.
“But the more the game went on, the more we were able to get him into forward positions.
"He wants to get to the byline and there was some good combination play with him and Ryan to set up Ricky Korboa.
"That was excellent and something we worked on."
