Town have avoided any suspensions for the run-in to the Championship season after passing the 37-game cut-off point for 10 bookings on Saturday.

Full back Dan Potts, who was injured for the weekend’s trip to Wigan, had been the most at risk with eight cautions to his name.

Top scorer James Collins had also been a candidate as well, gaining his seventh yellow card at Bristol City before the turn of the year, but has since stayed out of the referee’s notebook for the past 12 fixtures.

Town's disciplinary record has been relatively clean so far this term, yet to see a player sent off, although Glen Rea has picked up six bookings from just 12 appearances, while Izzy Brown gained a fifth caution at the DW Stadium.

Looking further down the list, Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu on four was Town’s next squad member to see yellow the most, while Luke Berry, Kazenga LuaLua, Matty Pearson, Andrew Shinnie and Ryan Tunnicliffe were on three, Sonny Bradley, James Bree and Martin Cranie on two.

If any Luton player reaches 15 bookings before the final game of the season at home to Blackburn Rovers, they will earn a three game ban.
