Luton striker could join Barnet permanently

Hatters wouldn’t stand in Gallen’s way

LUTON Town striker Kevin Gallen has been given the chance to resurrect his career by signing for League Two strugglers Barnet.

The former QPR forward had started the campaign as a first-team regular at Kenilworth Road but failed to score in his opening six games and was jettisoned from the squad after the 2-0 defeat at Grimsby Town.

Gallen, 35, made his Bees debut on Saturday, playing the final 35 minutes as Barnet defeated Macclesfield Town 1-0.
