Luton to host Manchester United in the Carabao Cup if they beat Reading
Luton will face Premier League giants Manchester United in the Carabao Cup should they get past Reading in the second round.
With the draws for both stages of the competition made this afternoon, Town's reward for defeating Norwich City 3-1 yesterday thanks to James Collins' hat-trick was a trip to the Madejski Stadium on September 14.

Hatters haven't played the Red Devils in a competitive game since April 18, 1992 when assistant boss Mick Harford was on target in a 1-1 Division One draw at Kenilworth Road.
However, to set up the tie, Town must win away to a side for the first time since August 1999, Luton losing their last six trips, scoring twice and conceding 20 goals.
