Luton will travel to either Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion or fellow Championship outfit Preston North End in the Carabao Cup fourth round if they can produce one of their biggest upsets in recent years by beating five-times champions Manchester United next Tuesday night.

The Hatters take on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side live on Sky Sports after knocking out Reading 1-0 at the Madejski Stadium in midweek.

Brighton, whom Town chief Nathan Jones worked for prior to arriving at Kenilworth Road as manager for his first spell, hammered Portsmouth 4-0 this evening.

Meanwhile, Preston knocked out Derby County with a 2-1 win at Pride Park on Tuesday night.

The game will take place in the week commencing Monday, September 28.
